Made me feel very comfortable
People should be beautiful in every way-in their faces, in the way they dress, in their thoughts, and in their innermost selves
It’s no secret European women don’t skimp on skin care and monthly facials. European women spend about 75% on skin care and 25% on makeup - North Americans are the exact opposite with 25% on skin care and 75% on makeup. European women are more concerned about preventing aging than fixing it with the help of make-up or plastic surgery.
Women on both sides of the pond realize that the keys to aging well are obvious, North American women, approach personal care with practical efficiency, while French women regard the art of pampering their skin, hair and body as an enjoyable, gratifying ritual.
But as a Medical Esthetician I strongly believe that proper skin care regimen – at home and at my skin clinic are part of healthy life style. Along with workouts, healthy eating etc. My Russian friens Svetlana quoted Chekhov’s line “People should be beautiful in every way-in their faces, in the way they dress, in their thoughts, and in their innermost selves”.
I love make-up and appreciate Highlighting and Contouring Makeup Techniques. But isn’t it better to spend efforts and money on making your skin really healthy, plump and glowing than trying to temporarily imitate it? It’s like wearing shaping underwear instead of exercising. What do you think my friends?
