Made me feel very comfortable
Ask the Experts - January 2015 Edition
Yes. The skin around the eye is much thinner, more delicate, and more sensitive than other facial areas. It has fewer sebaceous glands and is probably the most fragile skin on the entire body, and most likely to show signs of premature aging and sun damage.
Modern eye creams are carefully formulated to treat this delicate tissue. Eye Creams generally contain more emollient or lipids than general moisturizers to compensate for the lack of sebum in this area. They may also contain some state of the art ingredients such as peptides, enzymes, lipids and antioxidants, which help to improve appearance problems such as puffiness, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles and dry texture.
